Cotton Candy Ombre Nails

Hi everyone! Today I have sort of a 'part one' to some nail art I'm working on :) These bright ombre nails are my base for something I'll be posting on Wednesday! These were really fun to do and I hope you like them!

For this look I used White on White by China Glaze as a base, and two Color Club polishes. Factory Girl is a bright yet pastel blue creme polish with a great formula. Modern pink is a borderline neon pink creme polish that I really love! I think both work very well together (it reminds me of cotton candy ❤) and I am happy with how this color combo!

I usually never use white as a base if I'm doing an ombre look but I thought I'd give it a shot to make my nails look brighter. I'm actually really happy with how it turned out and I'll probably be using white as a base from now on!

As much as I hate cleaning up the mess that comes with ombre nails, I'm obsessed with this style! Here in Southern California it's been pretty gloomy this week and it's been raining like crazy! These nails will definitely make me happy and they'll help me forget about the cold weather. I'm so excited to share the finished nail look with you guys in a few days! And I'm also happy to announce that I'll have a pictorial for ombre nails up tomorrow! Ever since I started my Instagram, so many of you would ask how I did gradient/ombre nails and now I'm finally able to teach you :) Stay tuned for that, it'll be up soon!
